Epic Lakes

These boat cruises happen on these lakes up in the Rockies in Alberta. This particular one happens near Banff - Lake Minnewanka
The scenes are spectacular as you travel deeper into the ranges and are surrounded by the tall mountains. The entire cruise is about a couple of hours as they drop you off on some island in the lake allowing you to hike around a little before heading back.

This particular scene is as we were exiting the range heading back towards the docks. Another good thing is that private motor boats are not allowed in these lakes. Love the peaceful scenery thanks to such rules !
